Janet and Dave will be answering questions related to energy conservation methods and showing samples of: window quilts, insulation types, light bulb types. They will distribute handouts on R-values, internet energy sites including Cornell Cooperative Extension housing fact sheets. Their personal knowledge of housing construction will be available for application to any design question related to energy conservation including why subdivisions should have lots with the longest dimension in an E-W direction and why buildings should be insulated using USDOE standards and not those of NYS
